You are a purpose-first business looking to elevate your ESG strategy. You are seeing your competitors and peers create advanced sustainability reports and strategy, and new ESG regulations flooding the headlines. That’s where I come in.

As your resident ESG and sustainability leader, I become part of the fabric of your business; I learn your culture and values, and help you reach your business goals. I work with you to create a cohesive ESG strategy; remain ahead of trends, regulations, and consumer demand; and instill sustainability as a core part of your business.

Hey there, I’m Taylor.

How we got here.

I was sitting behind my laptop, coffee mug in hand, telling the interviewer about my degree. I was in a three-month period of (too many) job applications; first, second, and third-round interviews; and a constant pit in my stomach. Each interview panel I met I was struggling to connect with. I wasn't inspired by how they were talking about their company’s sustainability work. I realized that my idea of corporate sustainability is different. Rather than a chore, a checklist, (a one-time project?), or a shelf-ware report, I envision sustainability as the heart of the business. I want it to be a binding agent to an ecosystem of teams working towards a mission bigger than themselves. So instead of starting another cover letter, I started freelancing. I began with (a LOT) of technical copywriting. Then ESG reporting. Then go-to-market strategies and environmental communications. Each project was cut and dry, with a clear beginning and end. But that’s where the problem was for me; patchwork projects being done by an outsider couldn't capture the spirit and culture of a company, and they were one-off deliverables which sat in a Google drive.

So, here I am. Changing the way I do business. I am a fractional CSO. I become part of the fabric of your business; I understand your values and culture, in order to instill impactful progress into every facet of your operations, management, and reporting. Sustainability work isn't a trend - it's here to stay. You need support to make this happen, and that’s what I'm here for.

Intention

I put thought into everything I say yes or no to. I want my clients and projects to inspire me and light me up, because what we put time into is ultimately how we spend our lives, and what resource is more precious than that?

Integrity

Living, and working, in a state of vulnerability and honesty is part of leading a fulfilling life full of deep connections and work we can all be proud of.
